8 original wartime photos of
B-29 nose art pin up girls.
8 original photos of pin-up girls painted on the nose (and in one case te engine nacelle) of B-29 bombers haded towards Japan. Photos are in good condition and good size, varying from 5" x 3.5" (14cm x 9cm) to 4.5" x 3" (11cm x 8cm) approx. I don't believe these have ever been published.

RAF thermally insulated "Irvin" flying jacket with the yellow painted hood as issued to Coastal Command and Fleet Air Arm pilots and crews.
Lovely used example of this iconic jacket made from reversed sheepskin painted with a dark brown waterproof coating. Overall very good condition and large size - retaining its Air Ministry label in the neck. Based on the pattern I would say late 1942 –early 1943. This is the version with the yellow painted hood as an aid to visibility during sea rescue and was primarily worn by Fleet Air Arm and Coastal Command flyers. No damage (tiny surface nick on the right shoulder). Sleeve zips have been professionally replaced but look great, main zip is original - all work perfectly. Thick honey coloured lining is superb. Overall surface is beautifully worn with a nice dull patina leaving it soft and flexible.

Extremely rare Luftwaffe enlisted man's visor cap for the esteemed Hermann Göring Regiment.
Original examples of this rare cap very rarely surface, and this example is in absolutely superb condition. Made from officer quality gabardine wool and featuring the white waffenfarbe of the Hermann Göring Regiment, the cap has a polished visor with green checkerboard pattern underneath and a patent leather chin strap. The orange cotton lining with undamaged sweatshield lists a Berlin maker, size 56-1/2 and a date of 1938. It is additionally marked under the sweatband with the stamp of the 16th Battn. IV Regt. Hermann Göring. Light tan leather sweatband shows only light wear and there is very light soiling to the white piping from handling. Aluminium eagle and winged cockade, with painted finish showing light wear. An outstanding example of a very rare and highly-desirable cap.

3 x Luftwaffe photo postcards from WWII + one later postcard-size image signed by Walter Wolfrum.

Classic wartime "hero" postcards featuring Molders, Udet and Wick, all Knight's Cross winners. All in great condition, the Wick postcard is slightly stained and has writing on the back (but no stamp) and has also been removed from an album. The fourth is a more recent postcard showing a wartime photo of another German pilot Walter Wolfrum and is signed by him. I cannot tell if it is signed in sharpie or if it is a facsimile signature and part of the printing, so it is a priced as a facsimile. Price for all four together.
