LW grouping: pilot badge, licence and qualification certificate.
A very interesting small grouping of documents and cloth pilot badge to a reconnaissance pilot with Fernaufklärungsgeschwader 101 flying Ju88. Unteroffizier Hans Hahn was injured in a crash in Poland on 21 December, 1943. Included are his original signed pilot qualification certificate and cloth pilot badge (worn and with some moth damage) together with his official pilots licence which details his military service. A very nice and quite scarce grouping.

Not an uncommon item, but this is a textbook example, in excellent condition, with no damage and only minor storage soiling., Silk bevo woven design on triangle in excellent condition.

Luftwaffe Air Gunner / Flight Engineer qualification badge by Assman.
Luftwaffe aircrew qualification badge for an Air Gunner or Flight Engineer (without the lightning bolts featured on the Radio Operator's similar badge). A well struck example which does not appear to have been "cut down" from the Radio Operator's badge. Clear Assman "A" to back of badge. Good pin and catch. Wear to highlights but retains most of blackened finish to eagle. A good looking badge.

German War Merit Cross Second Class with Swords.
The War Merit Cross was a civilian award for courage on the home front by non-military personnel – a sort of Iron Cross for civilians. Like the Iron Cross, there were two classes: First Class and Second Class, with this being the Second Class (suspended from a ring by a red, white and black ribbon; First Class awards were heavier and pin-back). The award with swords was the highest level of the Second Class variant. Made from zinc with a bronze wash, this example is in good condition, though it lacks its ribbon.

Comprising eagle cap device plus wreath, cockade and wings in stamped aluminium. All but one of the prongs has broke off or been removed but no other damage and they display nicely.

Excellent matched pair of shoulder straps / boards for the rank of Oberfeldwebel for flight or paratrooper division of the Luftwaffe (yellow waffenfarbe). Very good condition with no damage or mothing.

Late War Luftwaffe ground assault badge.
Very late war Luftwaffe ground assault badge. Zinc, one-piece construction and typical low quality late war, though the details are fairly clean, in spite of the usual surface deterioration and wear. Some evidence of silvering to the surface but not a brilliant example.
